About Me
Hey there, I’m Kelly and I am a budding interior designer. I am currently studying for my Higher National Diploma in Interior Design at the British Academy of Interior Design. I set up this blog to share my journey with fellow interior design enthusiasts, offer practical tips and provide inspiration.
I have always loved design (I basically lived in my A-Level Art and Design classroom during school), however, I followed a route into law and tax advice. Very different from interior design I know – but with some surprisingly transferable skills!
After having 2 babies and spending my maternity leave project managing our house renovation, (I mean, what better way to spend those long sleepless newborn nights than by googling every aspect of kitchen design). Through learning on an actual job, I gained valuable practical skills and experienced the thrill of seeing my design come to life. I gained the confidence to design our family home and I decided it was time to follow my dream and become an interior designer. I am now designing spaces for others, and love creating beautiful spaces unique to individual needs and personalities.
I hope that through this blog I can help you to also gain the confidence to make your dream home or career (or both!) a reality.
